Legal Considerations for Caregivers
October 4, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
$1
Caregivers often wonder if there are legal and financial risks with the decisions they make when caring for a loved one. Here is one example: in Pennsylvania, a nursing home is legally allowed to sue a child for the cost of a parent’s care if the parent cannot pay. When there are multiple children, the nursing home can choose which child to sue, even if one child was wayward and took advantage of the parent without the other children’s knowledge. During this free seminar, Jessica Greene, CELA*, will help you learn how to minimize the legal and financial risks for your family and maximize the decision-making ability of your loved one.
