Legal Planning for Dementia

November 8, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

dementia and memory loss

When an individual’s ability to manage their own legal and financial affairs is impaired by symptoms of dementia, complications can arise.  When legal planning is undertaken either before dementia develops, or while an individual still has capacity, the individual and his/her family can be protected from some potential pitfalls.

The determination of capacity versus incapacity may vary according to specific situations.  Some planning steps are available even when symptoms of dementia are present. Join Jessica Greene, CELA*, for this informative presentation.
