Your guides and advocates
Our Team
Our personal life experiences have prepared and motivated us to serve as your guides and advocates. If you are still healthy, we can help you establish your options and get comfortably prepared for the future. Most of us hope to pass peacefully, when the time comes, in the comfort of our homes, surrounded by memories and loved ones. This requires significant advance planning; we take inventory of the specifics of your assets, age and health, projected retirement income, any veteran’s status, and your preferences, comparing your profile with statistical probabilities and our knowledge of national trends and local options. This helps us develop a plan of realistic options for you. Our strategic work to preserve your wealth and independence is supplemental to a qualified financial planner; we prefer to function as team members with your financial planner and accountant. If you are a caregiver of an older loved one, you probably have questions about what care options could be considered or how you can pay for necessary care while preserving family assets and avoiding personal responsibility. Our staff understands the stress that comes with your devotion. Through the combined efforts of experienced attorneys and accredited elder care coordinators, we help our clients not only preserve family wealth but also live with dignity. We’ve been in your situation and understand what you’re going through. Please take a moment to read our individual stories below.

Keystone Elder Law’s mission is to be the shield that protects the Middle Class from the costs of getting older. We do this work with passion because we are just like you. You are our neighbors. We see you every day, sometimes in good health and sometimes during times of worry.
I delivered your newspapers as a boy. Regardless of the weather, I slung my bag full of papers over one shoulder, got on my bike, and rode around my neighborhood in Hampden Township, Cumberland County. Some of you liked to have your newspaper well before sunrise on Sunday morning, so I got to your doorstep in the dark. When it came time to collect payment for the Patriot-News, you invited me into your living room while you wrote a check. We talked, you told me about your children, and I heard what was on your mind.
After graduating from Trinity High School and attending college and law school at the University of Notre Dame, I returned to my hometown. I continued to learn so much more about you. While serving as Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, I met regularly with experts on the legal and financial threats to older Middle Class Pennsylvanians. We put our heads together and rewrote significant parts of Pennsylvania law to better serve you.
Working with Keystone Elder Law, you will learn about essential planning tools, such as the power of attorney, health care power of attorney, living will, and trusts. These tools and the laws behind them have evolved because people who know you and the challenges you face helped to write the changes. I know, because I was one of them.
I decided to enter private practice and to become the owner of Keystone Elder Law because protecting the Middle Class is my mission. You are living longer than previous generations did. But that comes with a new set of challenges: preparing for health conditions that deprive you of control over your life, making sure that your spouse will not run out of money if you get sick, and leaving your hard-earned savings to children in ways that make sense.
We can protect you from these challenges. Let us build you a shield.

I joined Keystone Elder Law as an Administrative Assistant in December 2017, became a Certified Dementia Practitioner in 2019, and worked my way up to becoming a Pennsylvania Certified Paralegal in 2020. After learning the story about why our firm was founded, I immediately knew that I wanted to support the firm’s vision in helping others to navigate through the difficult issues they are facing together with their families, planning for their own future, or dealing with the grief of losing someone.
During my time at Keystone Elder Law, I have expanded my knowledge of the different aspects of Elder Law, and have found my niche by working alongside our attorneys in the handling of the Estate Administration for our firm. I love what I do at Keystone Elder Law. My goal with every client is to take away a lot of the stress of administering a loved one’s estate so that they can take the time to grieve and heal. I see the look of relief on their faces and their words of gratitude remind me why I do this work.
Helping other people is not only my profession. I raised my children to look for opportunities to serve the community, and I am a dedicated volunteer at the LGBT Center of Central Pennsylvania and Wills for Heroes.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance Management from Immaculata University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2012. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling the world, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with my four children and two grandsons.
As a lifelong Central Pennsylvania resident, my passion for serving older adults began with the close relationship I shared with my grandparents. That passion grew into a career dedicated to supporting older adults and their families through leadership, education, and compassionate care. Caring for my own grandfather during his dementia journey throughout the COVID-19 pandemic deepened my appreciation for the importance of planning ahead and ensuring each person's wishes are honored.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting many families as they navigated the responsibilities of serving as powers of attorney and executors. Seeing the difference thoughtful estate planning makes has strengthened my commitment to helping every client feel heard, supported, and confident throughout the planning process.
Outside of work, I enjoy serving in ministries at my church, traveling, spending time with my family, and being the "fun aunt" to my nieces and nephews. I am grateful to be part of the Keystone Elder Law team, where I can help clients and their families plan for the future with confidence and peace of mind.
I grew up in central New Jersey and always had a strong passion for helping others in need. After graduating from high school, I started criminal justice studies at Mount St Mary’s University, where I also played Division 1 Rugby. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading, and playing rugby.
I joined Keystone Elder Law in the summer of 2021 and am humbled to be working with a team that is driven by compassion to provide the utmost care to those who walk through our doors.
I am a graduate of York College and started my career at Keystone Elder Law as a receptionist. I found joy in welcoming people into our office and hearing about their families. During that time, I expanded my knowledge of the importance of having an estate plan in place. Taking the time to get documents in place and knowing how they fit into the larger plan can not only provide peace of mind to you but also to your family.
In 2025, I took a step further in my career at Keystone and accepted a position as a paralegal. This role has opened many opportunities to learn about the intricate language that goes into estate plans. It is a pleasure to work with the attorneys and see your estate planning goals come to fruition.
In my free time, I enjoy kayaking with my husband, reading, watching The Golden Girls, and snuggling with my cats!
I earned my BA in Communications and Public Relations from Kutztown University, where I also competed on the swim team. After graduation, I began my career in independent living at a retirement community and later worked across several levels of senior care, including more than five years in hospice.
In every role, I used data tracking and analysis to improve efficiency and create better experiences for the people being served. I developed a strong ability to identify needs, streamline workflows, and implement effective systems and processes.
After collaborating with the Keystone Elder Law team at several professional events, I welcomed the opportunity to join the firm in fall 2022.
Outside of work, I appreciate a good podcast, walking, and traveling. My husband and I enjoy cheering on our son from the bleachers as he pursues his goals.
My whole life I have always had a passion for people, and it is what has drawn me to come onboard with Keystone Elder Law. In 2010 I obtained my degree in Business Management, which led me on quite a career journey developing skills that would become incredibly useful with this firm. After college I worked as a Medical Claims Adjustor explaining medical benefits and treatment from an auto insurance standpoint. I then went on to have a career in real estate which is where I realized how much I really loved helping people in sometimes difficult situations. Being a part of people’s journeys, even if just a small part, feels so rewarding and like something I was meant to do. Being able to empower someone with knowledge to better their lives and the lives of those they love is the best feeling!
In my spare time I love spending time with my husband and my rescue dogs, Finny and Fiona! I also never pass up a good book or the opportunity to listen to a great podcast. My favorite hobbies are antiquing, writing and learning anything new!
Born and raised in central Pennsylvania, I grew up in Chambersburg next to one of the town’s prominent retirement and long-term care communities. I often visited my grandmother there. During my visits I saw firsthand the difference in the level of independence and care individuals experience during their golden years. Community cottages came with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and living area – plenty of space, but with a hefty price tag.
Many middle class retirees face difficult decisions about costly care, and many have no choice at all because of unexpected health changes. My goal is to understand your goals and to create a plan tailored to you, your wishes, and your needs.
In college, I studied Criminal Justice and History at Shippensburg University. Afterwards, I attended law school at the Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh. It was during this time that I was first introduced to the practice of elder law and estates. During my studies, I enjoyed the connection the practice had with aspects of property and tax law, and the distribution of people’s hard-earned assets. One of the things I enjoy most about practicing elder law is meeting with clients, getting to know you, your story, and your goals. When I am not practicing, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, learning French, watching Premier League Soccer, exercising and playing with my cats.
I grew up in California but wanted to be a lawyer in New York City since age 7. I started my legal career on Wall Street before heeding a call to greater service by joining the U.S. Army JAG Corps. As a JAG officer, I served countless military families, who repeatedly said that my thorough advice on estate planning crossed a huge burden off their minds, brought them tremendous peace and relief, and allowed them to move forward with their lives and careers. No longer exclusively serving military families, I consider it an honor to be able to offer this same level of patience and interactive estate planning to families of south-central Pennsylvania, which I lovingly call Home.
I graduated with High Honors in Economics and Distinction in General Scholarship (Cum Laude) from the University of California in Berkeley. I stayed in that town and went on to earn a law degree at UC Berkeley as well.
I have a lifelong passion for teaching, partially paying my way through college and law school by tutoring economics, calculus, chemistry, and core law topics like contracts and torts. Even as a corporate attorney, I made time to tutor math and chemistry to teens at local high schools. I am currently an Adjunct Professor of Military Law at Penn State Dickinson Law and have taught continuing legal education courses on estate planning and elder law for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Most importantly, clients say that my compassion and gift of making complex concepts understandable (breaking through the “legal-ese”) is what enabled them to get their estate plans done efficiently and without feeling overwhelmed.
I feel truly blessed to be a part of the Keystone Elder Law family! I am consistently impressed with not only the extensive skill set of each team member, but also their sincere compassion for each and every person who walks through our doors and calls into our office! My goal is to make you and your loved ones feel welcomed and valued as you navigate impactful decisions for your future. I am passionate about serving at my church and spending time with my family! I look forward to getting to know you!
With more than two decades of experience in senior care, I have dedicated my career to helping older adults and their families navigate the decisions that come with aging and long-term care.
My passion for senior care began when I became a caregiver for my great-grandmother. Having spent so much time with her throughout my childhood, being able to care for her when she needed me brought me a great deal of joy. That experience helped me realize how much I enjoyed caring for and spending time with older adults and ultimately led me to begin my career as a Personal Care Aide with a local home care agency.
From there, I moved into admissions and care coordination roles within senior living communities offering Independent Living, Personal Care, Respite and Restorative Care, and Memory Care. Throughout my career, I have also helped families navigate hospital stays, rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, hospice, home care, and home health services.
Those experiences have given me a unique perspective on how the different pieces of senior care fit together, and, perhaps more importantly, where gaps can occur when families do not know what questions to ask or where to turn for help.
If there is one thing I have learned throughout my career, it is that families often wait until they are faced with a crisis to begin making a plan. A hospitalization, sudden decline, caregiver burnout, or unexpected need for additional care can leave families trying to make important decisions quickly, often without knowing where to begin. After helping many families through those moments, my passion has grown beyond simply helping people navigate a crisis. I want to help individuals and families plan earlier, understand their options, and, whenever possible, prevent a crisis from happening in the first place.
Through Care Counsel at Keystone Elder Law, I help individuals and families look at the bigger picture. I want to understand what you want your later years to look like, what is most important to you, and what concerns you have about the future. From there, I can help identify potential challenges, explore the options available to you, and connect you with resources and services that support your goals.
Whether you are planning years ahead or facing a more immediate change in care needs, my goal is the same: to provide education, guidance, and practical support that helps you feel more informed, more prepared, and more confident about what comes next.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four cats.
I joined Keystone Elder Law in February of 2024 as a Legal Assistant in the Estate Administration department. I was thrilled to join this firm and be a part of such a dedicated, client-oriented team. I am eager to assist families through their next steps during a difficult time and aid in navigating the circumstances that may arise.
I graduated Cum Laude from Bloomsburg University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with minors in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and in American Sign Language.
I have a background working in childcare and elementary education for over 10 years and have always had a passion for helping others. After Covid hit, I felt that it was time to explore other options where I could utilize my passion, meticulous skills, and apply my proclivity to nurture and be an advocate for others. I also grew up with the pleasure of having quite a few deaf friends, so I am well-versed in American Sign Language, English Sign Language, and Deaf Culture.
Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with my cat, Nala, listening to music, expanding my knowledge, and delving into mysteries – whether it be a movie, podcast, show, or just on YouTube!
